DEVELOPMENT OF TRAINING E-CAPSULES ON EU LAW

ICF-EIPA Consortium and DG JUST of the European Commission

The project Development of training e-Capsules on EU law stems from a need to equip justice practitioners with the understanding and tools to apply EU law in their daily practice, give it full effect and secure the respect of rights and obligations stemming from EU law in national judicial proceedings.

The e-Capsule training format (within the wider “family” of the micro-learning) addresses specific training needs by breaking down content into shorter, focused topics and presenting them in an interactive, visual, and engaging way. The format of e-Capsules should not surpass 30-35 minutes duration, should be highly engaging and, whenever possible, be highly interactive.

As part of the current project for DG JUST, it will produce 40 e-Capsules on EU law, accessible to justice professionals on the EU Academy platform by the end of 2024.
